What are the Australian Boardgaming Tournaments?
We received a lot of feedback from you asking if tournaments could be run in different states - and here they are! Join us for fun, family-friendly tournaments in Brisbane, Canberra and Sydney. One big change this year: the 2015 Australian Championships will be held in Melbourne, with the chance for some lucky winners to represent Australia in their World Championship tournaments!
How do I Register?
Registration is easy - just head on over to the registration page for your state and purchase a ticket for your tournament. If you're purchasing several tickets at once, make sure to include the name of the participant on their ticket as this will be used to construct the Tournament Participants listing.
Don't forget to familiarise yourself with the location, round schedule and rules for your tournament.
That's it! Just show up on the day with your ticket and get stuck in to the game.

Fees, Schedules and Prizes
Family Tournament Entry Fees (QLD, ACT, NSW): Tickets are $15 each or $45 for four (that's $11.25 each!)
Australian Boardgaming Championship Entry Fees: Tickets are $25-30 each depending on the tournament, or $80 for any four tickets. Remember! Due to round overlap you can only play ONE game per day! Choose wisely...
Please note that the Championships venue is unfortunately not wheelchair-accessible. If you already hold a ticket for the Championships but feel you will be unable to participate because of this, please contact us and we'll be happy to provide a full refund.
Any refunds will be processed less booking and financial fees.
Tournament Schedules may differ for each event - see your tournament location for the relevant round times.

For maximum numbers, please see your individual state pages. Please note that organisers reserve the right to cancel tournaments if we do not reach a minimum 12 players. Refunds will be offered should this occur. Any refunds will be processed less booking and financial fees.
